Wendy Jean Vines, 46, passed away on January 1st in Virginia Beach. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lane Vines, parents Daniel and Margaret George, brother in law Larry Vines Jr., sisters in law Lynn Vines Hawver, Laura Vines Kelley, and Michelle Vines, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wendy will also be missed by her extended family in England. Aunt June, Uncle Don, Cousin Dean and his wife Suzanne, Lewis. Also June, Karl and Faz.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father in law Patricia Vines and LCDR Larry Vines Sr.

Wendy worked for 15 years as a technician for Cox Communications, and was a frequent donor to the ASPCA. Wendy loved her four rescued pit bulls and pit mixes as her four legged children. Wendy and Lane were also avid supporters of the American Red Cross.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, located at 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Norfolk Humane Society or the Virginia Beach ASPCA.
