  2. Barbara , kids, Bill was an incredible man. We loved serving as bus captains together. We loved to watch him grill, no one like him. Never burned a hot dog even if I asked lol.. He sent us oil when Herb bought his first Harley. I ll miss him but know our brother will greet us when it’s our time to go. Cherish the moments You’ve shared. Remember the lessons.. He was loved

  3. It is with a heavy heart upon learning this news about Mr. Stancil, that I send this to you. I always had deep admiration and respect for him, especially for helping Leia since I am so far away. I never had any worries because I knew he was there. I know he had a strong and positive influence on Aidan’s life. God gained an Angel. I send prayers of comfort and healing to the entire family. May God bless all of you

  4. I was a year behind Bill and was also a member of that fabulous team at PA. I loved Bill’s contagious humor. He was always humble and friendly to me. I also found Jesus as my savior in 1976 so I’m excited to think that I may one day see Bill again in Paradise. My prayers go out to all his family. You must miss him terribly.

  6. It was about 53 years I met Bill at the beach. I was working parttime at the gulf gas station and riding a 59 harley davidson. Our love for motorcycles , cars, and a good time brought us together as brothers. Over the years we became family. We drifted slightly apart as I worked out of town alot and he raised a family. About eight years ago he moved around the corner from me, so we started doing more things together, with him and his precious wife Barbara. I will cherish the times I had with him as he was a good friend and brother

  7. I was on the Princess Anne football team with Bill. He was a great member of our team. A few years ago we reconnected and were mutually delighted to learn that we each had been saved from our wild wanderings by the merciful love of God in Christ. My prayers are with his family and friends. I look forward to seeing Bill again soon
