William I. Trace, Jr., 47, passed away Wednesday, June 10th, 2020
“Billy” as he was affectionately known was born May 7th, 1973 to William and Connie Trace, Sr. in Norfolk, Virginia. Billy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being on the water. As much as he loved to fish, it paled in comparison to his love for his family, especially his children. Those were fortunate to know Billy would say he wore his heart on his sleeve and do anything for those he loved. His quick wit and smile would brighten any room. He will always be remembered as a kind loving father, son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is: children, Izabelle Trace, Michael Trace, and Savannaha Trace; mother, Connie Dilaura and husband John; sister, Stacey Bock and husband Jon; uncle, Billy Potter; aunt, Gail Goforth and step-son, Matthew Marshall.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
