
Woodrow Martin Streetman, 82, passed away peacefully August 25, 2013.
Born July 17, 1931 to the late Charles and Effie Streetman in Polk County Georgia; Mr. Streetman served our country first in the U.S. Army and then in the U.S. Coast Guard. Following his career in the military he went on to work in civil service as a Police Officer for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing the guitar and the piano and most importantly spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Georgia Streetman; son, Michael Streetman and wife Michele Streetman; two grandsons, Chase and Brody and a brother, Charles Streetman.
A graveside service will be held at time 12:00 pm, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk. Please share your condolences with the family at www.familychoicefunerals.com
